About The Author

J.T. Burger

I’m an author, hiker, spiritual advisor, life coach, and student of Polynesian wisdom. My approach to personal growth began with my own transformation. Once weighing 436 pounds and facing prediabetes, I eventually lost 186 pounds through gradual lifestyle changes, persistence, and the encouragement of people who cared about me.

That journey pushed me to look beyond physical health and explore behavior, motivation, fear, relationships, and the connection between mind, body, and soul.

I hold a graduate certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), but I’m not a licensed clinical therapist and I do not provide therapy. Instead, I use practical behavioral tools, personal experience, encouragement, and light humor in my life-coaching work.

My focus includes fears about the future, severe OCD, stage anxiety, grief, and personal change. Through my books and private hourly coaching sessions, I encourage people to take realistic steps toward healthier, more connected, and purposeful lives.
